Where is Salvia Blanca?
We are in the heart of Valle de Guadalupe, at Calle Merlot Parcela 325, Francisco Zarco, Baja California. We are the restaurant of the Contemplación resort.
How far is the restaurant from Ensenada, Tijuana or San Diego?
We are a short drive from the region’s main cities: about 35 minutes from Ensenada, an hour and a half from Tijuana and around two hours from San Diego, depending on traffic.
Is there parking?
Yes, we have parking for our guests.
Is the restaurant inside a hotel?
Yes. Salvia Blanca is the restaurant of the Contemplación resort, a boutique hotel of twelve cabins with spa and pool, in the heart of Valle de Guadalupe.

What are Salvia Blanca’s hours?
We are open Monday to Thursday from 8:30 to 20:30, and Friday to Sunday from 8:30 to 21:30.
Are you open on weekdays?
Yes, we are open every day. Monday to Thursday we also offer our Mesa del Valle menu, made to enjoy the Valley without the weekend crowds.
Do you serve breakfast?
Yes. We have a breakfast menu with eggs, chilaquiles, house bread, specialty coffee, juices and brunch drinks, overlooking the vineyard.

Do I need a reservation or can I walk in?
We welcome walk-ins subject to availability, but we recommend booking, especially on weekends, to secure your table.
Can I book for a large group?

The food
What kind of cuisine is Salvia Blanca?
Seafood and farm cooking by chef Tonatiuh Anzures. We blend Mexican tradition with contemporary technique, using Mexican produce, much of it from our own garden.
Do you have vegetarian options?
Yes, we have some vegetarian options, such as the garden salad, heirloom tomatoes and roasted beet. Let your server know and we will gladly guide you.
Do you have seafood?
Yes, seafood is central to the menu: oysters, aguachiles, ceviches, tuna tostadas, octopus and catch of the day, among others.
Do you have steaks?
Yes. We offer cuts like New York, Wagyu Rib Eye and Tomahawk, plus mains such as short rib, lamb and dry-aged duck.
What is the price range?
It is a mid-to-high-end dining experience. Appetizers start around $170 MXN and main courses from about $270 MXN; there are also premium cuts to share.

Can I bring my dog?
Yes, pets are welcome in our outdoor area. In fact, we run our own dog sanctuary, La Manada Feliz, which three of our beers and two of our wines benefit.
Is it a family-friendly place?
Yes. We have a terrace, garden and outdoor spaces overlooking the Valley, ideal to enjoy with family or friends.

Do you have your own brewery?
Yes, we brew eight craft beers in the Valley, including Salvia Mágica, Gnomo, Chamana and Merlín. Three benefit our dog sanctuary: Coyotita, Guapo and Kuzco.
Do you have Valle de Guadalupe wines?
Yes. At our Cava Lustro we serve house wines and a selection of the best labels from Valle de Guadalupe.
Do you offer tastings?
Yes, we have guided tastings of wine, tequila, mezcal, Mexican spirits and our own beer, in the cellar or under the pergola. Booked by WhatsApp.

Yes, we have live music every weekend: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with terrace and fire pit at sunset.
